Rebates vary depending on where one purchases and installs a photovoltaic solar system. Rebates are available from the:
- Federal government
- State government
- Local Government
- Utility Company
The amount of the rebate, if it exists, varies by state, local government, and utility company. Each is a link to the cooresponding rebates.
Currently, the United States government is offering a 30% tax rebate on installations of photovoltaic solar panel systems. This incentive, in addition with state and local solar incentives, provides up to 50% of the cost of a photovoltaic solar panel system.
